The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala is now inviting applications from qualified and interested individuals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Salary: Consolidated amount of Rs. 31000/- + HRA for first two years and Rs. 35000/- + HRA for the third year (as per applicable rules)
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Qualification Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT. DAE, DOS. DRDO, MoE, ICAR. ICMR, IIT, IISER, NISER etc.
Desirable Qualification:
M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/equivalent with Power Electronics/ Energy Systems/ any other related specialization.
Job Roles:
The primary role is to assist in research activities under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI). Research activities include design and development of power electronics hardware including power circuits, gate drivers, signal processing and embedded controller. Circuit simulations and hardware testing of both components and full converter system. Preparation of high-quality documentation, including detailed reports and presentations etc.
