Salary: Rs. 1,500 per lecture with a ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per month.
Educational Qualification:
- Possess a Master’s degree in Anthropology or a related field with 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent (SLET/SET).
- Candidates with a Ph.D. (as per UGC regulations) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET if they meet specific conditions, such as a regular-mode Ph.D. award. Thesis evaluation by external examiners. Open viva voce. Two research publications from the Ph.D., with at least one in a refereed journal. Two presentations at UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-approved seminars/conferences.
- Applicants holding a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 (QS, THE, ARWU) are also exempt from NET/SLET/SET.
